A free Discord licence bot: claim, check and manage keys in your server

Add PWF Auth's bot to your Discord server and link it to your app: customers claim keys and move to a new PC with slash commands, staff make and ban keys, and a buyer role marks everyone with a valid key

If your customers gather in a Discord server, that is where they ask about their keys. PWF Auth's Discord bot works right there: customers claim their key and move to a new PC with slash commands, your staff make and manage keys without opening the panel, and a buyer role marks everyone who holds a valid key. You don't have to build or host a bot: you add PWF Auth's bot to your server and link it to one of your apps

  1. In your panel open the Discord bot page, pick the application and press Add the bot. Discord asks which server. The bot only needs Manage Roles, for the buyer role
  2. Make a link code. It looks like ABCD-EFGH, works once and lasts 15 minutes
  3. In your server run /pwf link code:ABCD-EFGH. You need the Manage Server permission there

That's it: the server shows on the page as linked. One app can have several servers, and unlinking never touches your keys or the keys customers claimed

What your customers can do

  • /redeem key:…: claims a key for their Discord account, and gives the buyer role when you set one. A key claimed by one account can't be claimed by another, and ten wrong keys in ten minutes pause the sender for a while
  • /mykeys: their keys, the status and the time left
  • /resethwid key:…: frees the key for a new PC, by your app's own self-service rules. Only the account that claimed a key can reset it

Your staff manage keys from Discord

The /key commands need Manage Server by default. To hand them to a staff role, open Server Settings → Integrations → PWF Auth in Discord and allow /key for that role

  • /key create days:30 count:5 devices:2: five 30-day keys for 2 PCs each, in your app's key format (0 days makes lifetime keys, up to 25 at once)
  • /key info key:…: status, time left, devices, sign-ins, who claimed it and which reseller sold it
  • /key reset-hwid, /key ban, /key unban, /key add-time, /key remove-time
  • /key delete key:…: asks first, with buttons. A reseller who sold the key gets its credits back
  • /pwf stats: the app's keys and who is online right now

Need finer control? /pwf access who:@Helpers picks exactly which /key commands a role or a member may use, for example only info and reset-hwid

Everything staff do goes through the same code as the panel, and shows in the key's activity with their Discord name, so you always know who did what

A buyer role that keeps itself up to date

Run /pwf buyer-role role:@Buyers. Customers get that role when they claim a key, and lose it within the hour once the key expires, is banned or is deleted, unless another valid key of theirs still gives it. Use it to open buyer-only channels without checking anyone by hand

Keep the PWF Auth role above the buyer role in Server Settings → Roles, or Discord won't let the bot give it

Prefer Telegram? Each app can also have its own Telegram bot. The full Discord guide is in Discord bot
